WHAT IS EDIS?
EDIS is a program that provides assistance to children age birth to 36
months who have or may be at risk for a developmental delay.
By providing resources and support to these children and their
families during these critical years, EDIS helps children get
off to a great start.
IS YOUR CHILD READY TO LEARN? DON'T GUESS. KNOW FOR SURE!
Every child develops in his own style and at his own pace. In the first
three years of life, most children develop new skills in a predictable
order - they crawl before they walk (motor), and they point before they
use words to tell you what they want (language); they interact with toys
before learning to play with others (social), cling to you for safety before
attempting independence (emotional), and they imitate what you do before
venturing out into self-discovery (intellectual).
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
