Advance calls are not required. Enter at the south end of the hospital marked "Emergency Entrance". Patients are treated in order of urgency rather than order of arrival.

Waiting time for non-urgent problems during busy periods can be lengthy; non-urgent problems are often better managed through your primary care clinic. Nonetheless, all waiting times are the lowest of any Emergency Department in the Columbus area.

The ER treats all patients who arrive with life-threatening or serious conditions, regardless of their eligibility for military health care. After stabilization, ineligible patients are moved to other hospitals when their condition permits.

                                                                           ROUTINE                    

The ambulance service provides service for the Fort Benning Military Reservation only. If you live off post, your call to 911 will dispatch a civilian ambulance which will take you to the closest hospital. If your condition permits, and you want to come to MACH, you must inform the ambulance personnel.
